NDS 400 K – for a satin finish without equal

The NDS 400 K by Klingspor is the tool of choice when it comes to creating an omnidirectional, ultra-fine satin finish on stainless steel surfaces. The non-woven web disc is also a fine option for light cleaning work and the removal of thin layers of oxidation on

  • steel,
  • stainless steel,
  • plastic,
  • paint, -varnish, and
  • filler

and can be used for roughening painted and plastic surfaces. The NDS 400 K also produces perfect results when used for preparing surfaces for subsequent coating or painting.

Robust and durable thanks to a synthetic resin bond

The NDS 400 K is available with a (very fine) aluminium oxide or an (ultra-fine) silicon carbide grain that is fixed in place with the synthetic resin bond This resin bond is particularly resistant to loads and impact. And, when compared to conventional bonding agents, it offers an adhesive force that is markedly stronger. These qualities ensure that the abrasive grain wears down more slowly, extending the service life of the abrasive disc.

Polishing and roughening – a cinch with the NDS 400 K

The NDS 400 K makes it an absolute breeze to complete all types of polishing and preparatory work on metal surfaces. Since it is self-fastening, the disc can be combined with all standard random orbital sanders. The non-woven disc is used in both private and professional environments for all types of cleaning and surface preparation work that call for particularly gentle processing – for example, during graining of stainless steel or the cleaning or keying of existing paint on automotive components.
